Zukerman, Forsyth & Hope

End of the season

For over five decades, Pinchas Zukerman has established himself as one of the most sought-after and versatile artists. Over 100 CD releases demonstrate his virtuosity, the expressive, lyrical nature of his playing and his fantastic musicality. Together with Daniel Hope, he is now creating a concert program that spans the history of music and also includes Zukerman's wife, cellist Amanda Forsyth. Works such as Max Bruch's Double Concerto and Felix Mendelssohn's String Octet, a stroke of genius by the then sixteen-year-old, are not to be missed. "It is a great honor for the ZKO and me to be able to create a musical evening together with Pinchas and Amanda," says Daniel Hope, "because there is hardly a violinist I admire as much as Pinchas Zukerman."
