New Year's concert with the Swiss Orchestra: Swiss Connections

In the dazzling New Year's concert, the Swiss Orchestra and clarinettist Reto Bieri take us into the new year 2026 under the motto "Swiss Connections" - and at the same time on a musical journey from Switzerland via Paris to America, in which the supposed contrasts between European music, which is considered 'profound', and the American lightness of the 'New World' dissolve. Works by Joseph Lauber, Jules Massenet, Pierre Maurice, Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, Kurt Weill, Ernest Bloch, Camille Saint-Saëns and father and son Johann Strauss will be performed.
