Lucas Debargue

Virtuoso keyboard magic

Miłosz Magin's music can be recognized by just a few notes; his style is enchanting and surprising at the same time. Few composers of his time have
He is so clearly dedicated to the art of composing beautiful melodies - while retaining the rhythmic innovations of modernism as well as a harmony that is clearly influenced by the great French musicians of the early 20th century.

Debargue contrasts the Polish composer's Piano Concerto No. 4 with the technically demanding and lesser-known Piano Concerto No. 14, K. 449 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Music critic Eric Blom called it "an interesting and strangely neglected work in E flat major, which clearly reveals a new character. (...) There is something darkly melancholy about the work that we have not yet encountered in this category of music."
