Anna Mae

Singer and songwriter Anna Mae takes to the stage with new songs. Her music ranges from Americana and country to folk and chanson.

Anna Mae writes her songs in English or French about love, freedom, peace and living dreams in today's world. She interprets these in her very own, authentic style, which she emphasizes with her positive energy and an emotionally charged voice. Having grown up in France and Switzerland, with excursions to London in England and Chicago in the Midwest of the USA, Anna Mae is now based in the Lucerne hinterland. There she enjoys being close to nature and writes her music - inspired by names such as Tina Turner, Johnny Cash, Edith Piaf and Lady Gaga. The concert evening with Anna Mae invites you to dream and let go, to question and hope. She will be accompanied by her guitarist of many years, Gabriel Yaacoub, with whom she has also performed at the international "Canadian Music Week" festival in Toronto.
