Successful collaboration with patrons and philanthropists

Swissfundraising is offering a seminar on "Successful collaboration with patrons and philanthropists" for members and interested parties on February 5, 2026. The speaker Dr. Dr. Elisa Bortoluzzi Dubach has been working for more than 20 years for various companies and foundations in Switzerland and abroad in the areas of sponsoring and foundation consulting and is happy to pass on her knowledge.

Which projects do patrons support and what form does the collaboration take?
This one-day practical seminar provides an overview of philanthropy and provides facts and figures as well as up-to-date information on national and international players. It provides specific tips on the psychology of patrons and philanthropists, instructions on how to identify and contact philanthropists and how to maintain relationships with them. Methods, sources of information and practical tools for successful cooperation are presented and discussed in greater depth using examples from national and international practice.

At the end of the seminar, Elisa Bortoluzzi Dubach will hold a thirty-minute discussion with Gitti Hug, lawyer, President of Kunstfreunde Zürich and philanthropist, followed by a Q&A session. Gitti Hug is a lawyer, president of Kunstfreunde Zürich, member of the board of the Zürcher Kunstgesellschaft and a recognized expert in the international art market. She advises, supervises and supports non-profit organizations in a variety of ways.

After the course, you will be in a position to establish a promising collaboration with a patron on your own.
