klang-Festtagskonzerte – HORIZONTE – Zürichberg
Das Konzert beginnt mit dem Streichquartett von Joseph Haydn, einem Meisterwerk der Wiener Klassik, das mit seiner Eleganz und Tiefe begeistert. Es folgt von Franz Schubert aus seinem nicht vollendeten Streichquartett Nr. 12 der berührende Quartettsatz. Bei Paul Juons Streichquartett Nr. 1 in D-Dur sind wir in der Romantik mit östlichem Flair. Sein faszinierendes Werk verzaubert mit reicher Harmonik und leidenschaftlichen Melodien und entführt in eine emotional vielschichtige Klangwelt. Seine Werke werden dank seines 150. Geburtstags im Jahre 2022 wieder vermehrt aufgeführt – es lohnt sich, ihn zu entdecken.

How to get there: Take streetcar 6 to the Zoo terminus and from there it is a 3-5 minute walk to the hotel. By car also to the end of streetcar 6 and turn left there - underground parking garage directly at the hotel.
Doors open and welcome drink, offered by the Sorell Hotel Zürichberg, 30 minutes before the concert begins.
