Tone colors

Our string orchestra opens the concert with Gustav Holst's "Brook Green Suite", followed by Eric Whitacre's "Lux Aurumque", which is performed exclusively by our wind players. In Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5, we bring all registers together again and allow the audience to experience the sound of the full symphonic orchestra in all its fullness.
