The golden marching parade

With a fresh, lively program, the national squad of Swiss military music will once again be in top form in 2026. Celebrated at home and abroad, the top ensemble will once again delight audiences with a carefully compiled repertoire full of rousing marches and powerful compositions. Classics of marching music - including works by Stephan Jaeggi, Jean Daetwyler, Julius Fučík, Kenneth J. Alford and John Philip Sousa - are performed alongside rarely played gems.

In addition to fiery marches, the orchestra also performs sensitive arrangements of familiar Swiss folk songs - lovingly reinterpreted and with ballad-like depth. A special highlight: the drum corps sets the scene with two spectacular show blocks of energetic drum fireworks. The drummers fascinate not only with their precise rhythms, but also with impressive visual effects.
