In this seminar we explore the unifying power of melodies and rhythms from different cultures around the world.
Diverse forms of improvisation playfully lead us on the trail of melodies, rhythms and harmonies that unmistakably characterize a musical style.
Music has always connected people from a wide variety of cultures and enables exchange where words are often not enough ...
For all instruments and voices. Previous musical knowledge is welcome, but not required! Piano and various percussion and sound instruments are available on site.
Basic content of the Music for People seminars:
- Developing your own musical expression
- Free playing with instrument and voice without sheet music
- Communicate musically
- Active listening
- Sound and silence
- Music and movement
- Learning skills for leading improvisational groups (also as further training)
