Family Concert – The Story of Babar
Babar’s journey speaks for itself: he is a character who experiences separation, exile, and a journey of discovery, culminating in his triumphant return. The actor—the radiant Robert Sandoz—and the instruments share the story just as one shares an adventure, a game, or a fairy tale. We are then reminded of the little elephant, the great forest, the loss of his mother, then the city, an old lady, a kingdom… and of course… a green costume!
