klang Festival Concerts in Meggen – KLANGWELTEN – Matinee | 20th Anniversary
We’re celebrating—thanks to you, our dear audience. 20 years of «klang»—a tradition that moves us, brings us together, and endures.
Three works, three soundscapes: Mendelssohn’s Quartet in E-flat Major combines classical clarity with Romantic warmth and takes on new hues in this wind arrangement. Dvořák’s «American» Quartet brings to life a sense of vastness, nature, and folkloric echoes—in this concert, in a purely wind arrangement. Grieg’s «Norwegian Dances» transport the audience into a richly colorful world of Nordic melodies, rhythmic energy, and a dance-like zest for life. A program full of variety and sonic surprises.
Be sure to attend the opening concert, where you can hear the «American Quartet» in its original version.
