200 years of Johann Carl Eschmann - Festive concert
To mark the 200th birthday of the Winterthur composer Johann Carl Eschmann (1826-1882), this special anniversary concert is dedicated to his musical legacy.
Works by Eschmann as well as Felix Mendelssohn, Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms - composers who shaped and inspired his era - will be performed in the historic ballroom of the Altes Stadthaus.
A festive concert evening full of romantic timbres, virtuosity and musical discoveries - a tribute to an important son of the city of Winterthur.
The concert is organized by the REVISION Project, which is dedicated to the rediscovery and lively communication of special musical works.
