27th Kloten New Year's Gala: „Brass Meets Tradition and Rock ’n‘ Roll“

The Eglisau Brass Band welcomes Appenzell dulcimer virtuoso Nicolas Senn and rock ‘n’ roll dancers Noëmi and Nicolas Kuran from Bern as special guests. The artistic director and conductor is Andreas Buri.

As a soloist, Nicolas Senn takes listeners on a virtuoso musical journey around the world, proving that everything—from folk music to classical, jazz, and rock—is possible on the hammered dulcimer. For the past ten years, he has hosted the award-winning show „Potzmusig“ on Swiss television channel SRF 1. Following several CD releases and TV appearances, he has been honored with awards such as the „Prix Walo“ and the „Stadl-Stern,“ and won Switzerland’s «Grand Prix der Volksmusik.».

Rock ‘n’ Roll dancers Noëmi and Nicolas Kuran from Bern will put on a spectacular show. The pair won the 2024 European Championship in acrobatic rock ‘n’ roll and have been multiple Swiss champions in this discipline. They both also dance with the group Styleacrobats and were, among other accolades, the audience favorites at the Swiss Talent Award.
