Bettagskonzert: Traces of a musical journey

We are not just networked today. Even 500 years ago, there was a lively exchange of compositions, musicians, styles and practices around the Mediterranean: The program of the ensemble Zenaida, which emerged from the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis and celebrates its premiere with this concert, leads from Burgundy to Italy, from there to Spain, Palermo and Split in Croatia. This exchange also took place across denominational boundaries. Abbot Urban Federer and pastor Johannes Block will meditate on this musical ecumenism.
