Einstein's Mozart
The life of Alfred Einstein (1880 - 1952), the important Jewish Mozart expert who was responsible for the third revision of the Köchel Catalogue, is representative of numerous musicologists and their fate during the National Socialist dictatorship: from outlaw to outlaw; the only way out - exile in the USA. The musicologist Prof. Dr. Cristina Urchueguía presents this life story, which she has recently reappraised.
