Gstaad Conducting Academy - Concert I

In this first of two concerts of the Gstaad Conducting Academy 2025, you will have the exciting opportunity to experience the young conductors live on the podium of the Gstaad Festival Orchestra after a week of intensive rehearsals under the guidance of Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, Jaap van Zweden and Johannes Schlaefli. Selected from around 200 applicants, these promising talents will now take it in turns to take to the stage to perform Dvořák's legendary symphony "From the New World". Just two days later, Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla will conduct the masterpiece herself at the first major symphony concert in the Gstaad Festival Tent.
