Gstaad Festival Amateur Orchestra - Concert
For the 16th edition of the Amateur Orchestra Week, the Gstaad Festival Amateur Orchestra is once again taking on repertoire that is rarely played by non-professional ensembles - to be more precise: Gustav Mahler's "Titan"! This monumental work made a lasting impression last summer with the London Symphony Orchestra under Sir Antonio Pappano. The Gstaad Festival Amateur Orchestra offers the ideal opportunity to make music with colleagues from Switzerland and abroad, to attend concerts of the Gstaad Menuhin Festival and to explore and enjoy the Saanenland together. The week is under the proven direction of Kevin Griffiths and his team of professional conductors.
