Matinée des Jeunes Etoiles I

At the age of ten, Russian-born pianist Ilya Shmukler decided to dedicate his life to music. After graduating in Moscow "with honors", Ilya Shmukler is now receiving further influences at Park University in Missouri, while the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung has already described the exceptional pianist as "a volcano". For his program, Ilya Shmukler has chosen two important works of the piano repertoire that demonstrate countless facets of his talent. Both cycles make enormous technical demands and at the same time require a tireless musical imagination - what a coincidence, because according to his teacher Stanislav Ioudenitch, he has plenty of it!
