Young talent concert Marimba Duo with Laurin Caprez and Valentin Frutiger (marimba)

The two percussionists Laurin Caprez and Valentin Frutiger are among the most outstanding young percussionists in Switzerland. Both study at the Zurich University of the Arts with Raphael Christen, Klaus Schwärzler and Benjamin Forster and have already won numerous competition prizes. The 18-year-old Laurin Caprez was crowned Swiss Solo Champion Percussion in 2024, while the 20-year-old Valentin Frutiger is a multiple first prize winner of the Swiss Youth Music Competition and the Swiss Percussion Competition. The duo caused a sensation with their performance at the 2024 Pre-College Concert in Zurich and will build on this success in Gonten.
