Pepe Lienhard Big Band - Big Band Matinee

Switzerland's best-known bandleader tours concert halls throughout Europe with unbroken energy and knows how to inspire his large and loyal audience time and time again. As part of the Big Band Matinee, the Pepe Lienhard Big Band presents a tried and tested mix of traditional big band sounds by Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman and Count Basie. The pop songs specially arranged for large orchestras also give the program the necessary spice and make the hearts of all music lovers beat faster. In his long career, Pepe Lienhard has appeared on stage with many a legend and has accompanied stars such as Whitney Houston, Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Quincy Jones with his ensemble. His orchestra was also the musical backbone of the unforgotten Udo Jürgens for 37 years.
