Trio Abstrakt - Modes of Fragility - forum neue musik luzern

Modes of Fragility presents works composed by Alberto Posadas for Trio Abstrakt and dedicated to the ensemble, as well as a new piece by Milica Djordjević. The program reflects transformation, resonance and the beauty that lies in fragility.

In Posadas’ Kintsukuroi, the Japanese art of repairing broken ceramics with lacquer mixed with gold, silver or platinum is celebrated, with imperfection becoming a central element of expression. In Djordjević's work, it evokes the lighting of a match in slow motion, a gesture that can ignite a flame or burn out in a brief, shimmering light in which vulnerability and beauty coexist.
