Music school management in co-leadership

Your chance to actively help shape the Oberseetal Music School!

The Oberseetal Music School is located in the beautiful Lucerne Seetal - a region with a high quality of life. It was formed from the merger of the four municipalities of Eschenbach, Ballwil, Inwil and Hohenrain and offers a wide range of musical activities at four locations.

Around 30 dedicated teachers teach with competence and passion - and make the Oberseetal Music School a creative place where music is promoted as the foundation for cultural thinking and experience.

Due to the retirement of the music school director, we are looking for two motivated personalities for the co-management of the Oberseetal Music School as of August 1, 2026.

2 co-music school directors (total workload 120 %, flexibly divisible)

Your tasks - varied and meaningful:

Management and further development of the Oberseetal Music School in pedagogical, personnel and organizational terms
Responsibility for administration, finances and quality assurance
Contribution to school and teaching development in the team
Communication with parents, teachers, commission, MJO association and municipalities
Public relations and representation of the Oberseetal Music School

Training as a music school director or willingness to complete this training
Profitable personality with management experience
Communication and cooperation skills
Structured and solution-oriented thinking and acting
Ability to work in a team, to deal with conflict and dialog
Willingness to support and further develop the existing music school culture in Oberseetal
