European Jazz Conference 2026
This is the first time the conference is being held in Germany, and Cologne is the logical venue due to its rich jazz history and current commitment to the contemporary jazz scene. The EJC2026 is being organized by three members of the European Jazz Network (EJN): the Stadtgarten Cologne as European Center for Jazz & Contemporary Musicthe Cologne Jazz Week and the Monheim Triennial.
Program, locations, and public access
The EJC2026 program will be developed together with the EJN Board in winter 2025/26 and presented in April 2026 at the jazzahead! It includes a diverse range of keynotes, panels, and over three evenings. twelve curated showcases, showcasing outstanding talents from the European jazz scene. The musical spectrum ranges from innovative composition commissions to performances by established ensembles.
