Bold tones on the piano<\/p>\n

It is with great pleasure that the Zurich Chamber Orchestra welcomes the charismatic pianist Jan Lisiecki to its ranks. The young Canadian proves that in terms of
\nThere is still something new to say about the Beethoven concertos. His playing shows great determination, it is intense and sonorous, wonderfully transparent, beautiful and expressive.<\/p>\n

Ludwig van Beethoven was also an excellent pianist and master of improvisation. It therefore comes as no surprise that he played his
\noften sat at the piano as a soloist himself. This was also the case at the premiere of his third piano concerto on April 5, 1803 in Vienna. With the Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor, Beethoven freed himself from some of the influences of his training with Joseph Haydn. He also defied the expectations placed on him in Vienna as \"Mozart's successor\". Beethoven showed his true colors. The critics were flabbergasted, the audience rejoiced. Vienna had never heard such bold sounds before!<\/p>\n
