Majestic music and sumptuous costumes: the renowned Mozart Festival Orchestra London transports the audience back to the Baroque era\u2014the age of sensuality.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abThe Four Seasons\u00bb is the title of Antonio Vivaldi\u2019s most famous work. It sets to music the finest details of typical natural phenomena in spring, summer, fall, and winter. The gentle babbling of a stream, as well as thunder and lightning, can be heard, as can buzzing insects and the whooshing wind. Opulent harmonies and rhythmic elegance spark the imagination. Surrounded by hundreds of candles and dressed in authentic Baroque costumes, the London orchestra accompanies the internationally acclaimed violinist David Juritz. In the first part of the concert, selected Baroque classics will enchant the audience. Moving arias and virtuoso string passages come together in a dance of emotions, ranging from sky-high joy to deep melancholy.
