It is no coincidence, then, that Felix Mendelssohn\u2014who already displayed impressive artistic maturity in his early string symphonies\u2014was hailed as the \u00abMozart of the century.\u00bb Music Director Daniel Hope dedicates the grand season finale to these two brilliant figures and joins forces for the occasion with pianist Kristian Bezuidenhout\u2014a proven expert on both Mozart and Mendelssohn, who will perform side by side with Daniel Hope in Mendelssohn\u2019s Concerto for Violin and Piano.
