{"id":1378,"date":"2013-07-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-07-14T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.musikzeitung.ch\/allgemein\/1378\/"},"modified":"2013-07-15T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2013-07-14T23:00:00","slug":"1378","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.musikzeitung.ch\/en\/anlaesse\/2013\/07\/1378","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='text-section'>\n<p>Chiara Enderle, who completed a Bachelor's degree in cello with Thomas Grossenbacher at the ZHdK (Zurich University of the Arts) and is now a student in Berlin with Jens Peter Maintz, beat the finalists Benedict Kl\u00f6ckner (Germany), Joris van den Berg (Netherlands) and Jonathan Dorman (Great Britain) in London.<\/p>\n<p>The Pierre Fournier Award was established in 1988 by cellist Ralph Kirshbaum. Previous winners include Gemma Rosefield, Richard Harwood and Gregor Horsch as well as Mikhail Nemtsov in 2011. A total of 30 participants have been admitted to the competition.<\/p>\n<p>Chiara Enderle was born in 1992 as the daughter of ZHdK music lecturers Matthias and Wendy Enderle. She has performed as a chamber musician with the Carmina Quartet in Switzerland, the USA and Japan.
