According to the biography on the Stiller Has website, Endo Anaconda was born in Burgdorf in 1955 to an Austrian mother and a Swiss policeman and spent the first part of his childhood in Biel. When he was five years old, his father was killed in an accident. At the age of twelve, he found himself in a boarding school in Klagenfurt (Carinthia) almost overnight. The family eventually emigrated there. However, Endo continued to spend his summer vacations with his grandparents in Emmental.<\/p>\n

After an apprenticeship as a serigrapher in Vienna, the non-student was caught up in the aftermath of the student protests there. He returned to Switzerland in the early eighties and worked for two years as a forklift driver at Shoppyland Sch\u00f6nb\u00fchl. After this time, he screams his way through various unsuccessful projects without monitoring. In 1985 he is the singer of the band The alpinists<\/em>which released a record on the Fata Morgana label in the same year.<\/p>\n

In 1989, he founded the duo Stiller Has with Balts Nill (Ueli Balsiger). Endo has three children.
