It ensures that digitization is carried out in a comprehensive and balanced manner, that duplicate digitization is avoided and that all participating institutions can contribute titles according to their capacity and the size of their holdings.<\/p>\n<p>The transformation of the prints held in German libraries into digital form creates the basis for new research questions, write those responsible.
