He draws on the romantic piano tradition: piano playing freed from cramps through artistic conception of content and sound, singing piano tone and education in the conscious use and application of the body.<\/p>\n<p>Inspired by Heinrich Neuhaus, Alfred Cortot and Leopold Godowsky, examples from the piano literature are shown and exercises and suggested solutions are offered for the technical problems. The exercises are designed in such a way that the performance of the music examples can be carried out in a controlled manner at the same time as the video recordings. Also from the romantic tradition is the standard work by Heinrich Neuhaus, the book <em>The art of playing the piano<\/em> which serves as the basic source for the video course.<\/p>\n<p>\"With his lessons, Laszlo Gyimesi is helping to keep a great romantic tradition of piano playing alive. This tradition can basically be traced back to Liszt, and thus ultimately to Beethoven. Technique, what is technique? Technique is for expression. No, technique is expression! A relaxed piano technique without false tensions helps us to realize our thoughts and feelings almost directly. Every pianist can come closer to this ideal.
