\"National Qualification Program\" is the official name for the cultural market working on behalf of SECO. It is the only program in Switzerland that is specifically aimed at unemployed cultural workers - actors, dancers, directors, costume designers and musicians. In the cultural market, they can benefit from individual coaching tailored to their person, their situation and their strengths. <\/p>\n

Wolfgang Beuschel, an actor and director with a degree in classical music and extensive experience of working with orchestras and freelance musicians, heads up the Cultural Market's Cultural Producers division. He sees himself as a guide, as someone who provides input and makes his expertise available. And this know-how is enormous. During his time at Kulturmarkt, Beuschel has met well over 300 jobseekers, advising, motivating and supporting them on their way to a job that pays a living wage. This often involves pursuing a multi-path strategy and developing a second mainstay that can be used to secure a regular basic income.

In addition to coaching, cultural professionals in the cultural market can also attend various further training courses. The spectrum ranges from \"Financing cultural projects\" and \"Project communication with social media\" to sound and lighting technology. There is also the opportunity to develop your own artistic project, test it on the Kulturmarkt stage in front of an audience and then offer it on the open market. <\/p>\n

The Kulturmarkt is located in Zurich's Kreis 3 district. It is a qualification program for job seekers and at the same time a cultural and event venue. It stages in-house and co-productions in the fields of theater, music and dance and hosts guest events and public neighborhood events. It also has a restaurant and rents out rooms for meetings, workshops and rehearsals. Information on the wide range of activities on offer can be found at <\/p>\n

Cultural workers who are entitled to unemployment benefit often have to face the fact: RAV advisors know little or nothing about the peculiarities of the labor market in this sector. The advice they give is correspondingly meagre.
