Together with Touriqum Spezialreisen, the Swiss music newspaper is organizing a five-day trip to the island republic from 23 to 27 January 2016.<\/p>\n<p> A British colony until 1964, Malta became a member of the EU on May 1, 2004. In 2017, it will hold the EU presidency together with the United Kingdom, and the following year Valletta will be the European Capital of Culture, together with the United Kingdom.<br \/> with the Dutch city of Leeuwarden.
