He was subsequently appointed Assistant Conductor of the New York Philharmonic from 2012 to 2015. From 2015 to 2021, he was Artistic Director of the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne and Chief Conductor of the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra.<\/p>\n<p>The Orchestre National de Lille is a French orchestra based in Lille. Jean-Claude Casadesus was music director of the orchestra from 1976 to 2016 and Alexandre Bloch from 2016. It is also the orchestra of the Op\u00e9ra de Lille and also cultivates a contemporary repertoire with composers in residence.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Joshua Weilerstein, who was Artistic Director of the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra until 2021, will take on the same role at the Orchestre National de Lille in September 2024. He succeeds Alexandre Bloch in this
