As part of their periodic strategy review, the Lucerne Festival Foundation Board and Executive Board have decided on the new festival structure that will apply from next year. Two new weekends will be created from 2020. These will offer audiences concerts in spring and fall, including in-house productions.<\/p>\n

In addition to the orchestra and the Academy, the Lucerne Festival Alumni are to be given more importance. This is a network of former Academy participants whose concert activities in Lucerne and abroad are steadily increasing. Activities in the city and region of Lucerne are also to be intensified.
