I had to realize that a commitment that meets my professional standards is only possible in the long term at the expense of my traditional artistic and educational activities. In order to ensure that my succession can be arranged as soon as possible, I deliberately made my decision as early as possible. I would like to thank our Board of Trustees for the trust they have placed in me and I am very much looking forward to the 2019 festival year,\" Oliver Schnyder announced.<\/p>\n<p>The Board of Trustees notes this decision with regret.
