Il concerto di apertura mostra le infinite sfaccettature del tema: l'unica opera di musica da camera del compositore sinfonico Anton Bruckner, con il suo uso meravigliosamente ampio e generoso del tempo, trova la sua antitesi nelle \u00abBagatelle\u00bb di Anton Webern, che durano appena un minuto nella loro concentrazione.
\nUn contrappunto dall\u00ab\u00bbArte della fuga\" di Bach e una fantasia di Henry Purcell mediano tra questi estremi. Con il Pacific Quartet Vienna, continuiamo la serie di rinomati quartetti d'archi al Musiksommer. Questo ensemble mette in contatto culture, tradizioni e aree geografiche.
