QUI SONO\", \u00e8 il titolo di una delle prime delle oltre 50 lettere che scrisse alla madre durante questo periodo. In esse, l'autrice fornisce un resoconto impressionante delle differenze culturali rispetto al suo paese d'origine che si notano nella vita quotidiana, della sua formazione al Conservatorio di Lipsia e anche delle sue diverse attivit\u00e0 e incontri nella vita sociale di Lipsia.<\/p>\n<p>Nel 2014, l'Universit\u00e0 di Musica e Teatro di Lipsia (HMT) \u00e8 riuscita ad acquisire le 57 lettere offerte da una libreria antiquaria di Londra attraverso una campagna di sponsorizzazione. I singoli documenti sono stati poi catalogati nel portale dei manoscritti Kalliope. In tempo per il 75\u00b0 anniversario della morte della compositrice, scrittrice e attivista per i diritti delle donne Ethel Smyth, le lettere sono ora disponibili anche online.<\/p>\n<p>Le copie digitali si trovano insieme ad altri oggetti della collezione digitale HMT sul portale <a href='https:\/\/sachsen.digital\/werkansicht\/dlf\/314878\/1\/0\/'>Sassonia.digitale<\/a> e pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato con licenza CC-BY-SA 4.0.
