Il team ha testato questa ipotesi in tre esperimenti che si sono concentrati sull'influenza sulla risoluzione di compiti creativi. Hanno messo i soggetti in esame di fronte a canzoni con testi non familiari, con testi familiari e con musica puramente strumentale.
