Sono disponibili in grandi quantit\u00e0 con una variet\u00e0 di nomi commerciali, in diverse tensioni e calibri, materiali e categorie di prezzo, e la scelta della corda dipende dallo strumento, dalle circostanze personali e dalle preferenze. Fattori importanti sono certamente l'intensit\u00e0 della pratica, la natura dei chiodi e la costruzione dello strumento. In ogni caso, \u00e8 interessante esplorare diversi tipi di corde e calibri sul proprio strumento.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lunghezza e materiale della scala<\/strong><br \/> I diversi calibri delle corde sono etichettati come bassa, media e alta tensione o qualcosa di simile. Purtroppo, la maggior parte dei produttori non specifica la forza di trazione e la tensione con cui una chitarra viene caricata dai diversi calibri di corda. Ogni corda \u00e8 fabbricata in modo tale da raggiungere la sua intonazione a una certa tensione e a una lunghezza di tensione di 65 cm. Il carico su ogni singola corda \u00e8 di circa 6-7 kg, per un totale di circa 40 kg di tensione su una chitarra con una lunghezza di scala di 65 cm.<\/p>\n<p>Manuel Rodr\u00edguez Senior, autore del libro Life and Experiences in Guitar Making, ha utilizzato una bilancia a molla per determinare il carico delle corde tese e accordate oltre i 65 cm e oltre i 63 cm. Con una lunghezza di scala di 63 cm, ogni singola corda aveva in media un carico inferiore di circa 0,5 kg. L'intera chitarra sarebbe quindi di circa 3 kg, quasi il 10% in meno di tensione rispetto a una chitarra con una scala di 65 cm. Al contrario, la tensione aumenta naturalmente anche se si tende lo stesso set di corde su una distanza maggiore. In pratica, questo significa che potremmo scegliere un set di corde con una tensione pi\u00f9 bassa per uno strumento con una scala pi\u00f9 lunga rispetto a uno con una scala corta, in modo da non sovra-tendere uno e sotto-tendere l'altro. Rodr\u00edguez \u00e8 dell'opinione che, a lungo andare, le corde a tensione estremamente elevata facciano pi\u00f9 male che bene a una chitarra. Ci\u00f2 che \u00e8 certo \u00e8 che le corde devono essere scelte in base alla costruzione dello strumento. Un set di corde ad alta tensione su uno strumento di costruzione leggera porter\u00e0 quasi certamente alla deformazione del top, mentre corde a bassa tensione difficilmente miglioreranno il suono di una chitarra di costruzione robusta.<\/p>\n<p>Le corde dei bassi e degli acuti sono realizzate con materiali diversi. Le tre corde dei bassi<br \/> sono fatte di seta di nylon e avvolte con fili di rame o d'argento, occasionalmente anche la terza corda, quella del sol. Le corde degli acuti sono in nylon solido. Da qualche tempo si utilizza anche il fluoruro di polivinilidene (PVDF), un materiale con una densit\u00e0 significativamente superiore a quella del nylon. Le corde sono quindi pi\u00f9 sottili a parit\u00e0 di altezza e quindi pi\u00f9 \"vivaci\" e reattive. Tra i chitarristi, queste corde in PVDF sono note anche come \"corde in carbonio\".<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Le corde per chitarra devono essere adatte allo strumento, ma soprattutto all'esecutore, al<br \/>il suo repertorio e le sue preferenze.
