O semplicemente senza l'opportunit\u00e0 pratica di esecuzione? Quindi \u00e8 stata pi\u00f9 che altro una coincidenza che ha portato alla creazione della <em>Pari <\/em>WoO 30 per quattro tromboni, che ancora oggi sembrano un po' strani in termini di strumentazione. Per questi brevi movimenti dobbiamo ringraziare un soggiorno a Linz nel 1812, durante il quale Beethoven divenne amico dell'allora direttore della cattedrale Franz Xaver Gl\u00f6ggl (1764-1839). Si dice che quest'ultimo gli abbia chiesto di scriverli, <em>\"di comporre il cosiddetto Equale per 4 tromboni per il giorno di Ognissanti (2 novembre), in modo da farli suonare dai suoi musicisti nel modo tradizionale in questa festa\".<\/em>. Almeno cos\u00ec ricorda Ignaz von Seyfried. Poich\u00e9 Beethoven non conosceva l'arrangiamento di questi brani, che erano stati tramandati solo a livello locale, li chiese, <em>\"per sentire un aequo, come \u00e8 stato soffiato sui cadaveri a Linz\".<\/em>. E Franz Gl\u00f6ggl, l'allora sedicenne figlio del direttore della cattedrale, continua nel suo disco molto pi\u00f9 tardivo: <em>\"Cos\u00ec accadde che un pomeriggio mio padre ordin\u00f2 tre trombonisti, visto che Beethoven era comunque a cena da noi, e fece suonare a uno di loro l'equalizzatore\".<\/em><\/p>\n<p>I tre trombonisti erano presumibilmente supportati dallo stesso Padre Gl\u00f6ggl e sono stati eseguiti brani che probabilmente appartenevano a quei tempi. <em>1200 Batterie strumentali<\/em> a cui il maestro della cappella della cattedrale poteva attingere quando soffiava dalla torre. Tuttavia, la collocazione di questa raccolta \u00e8 del tutto sconosciuta. Anche la strana denominazione di lavoro \"Equal\" sembra provenire da questa tradizione locale di movimenti omofonici. Si trova anche in brani di un certo Wenzel Lambel (a quattro parti, prima del 1844) o del giovane Anton Bruckner (solo a tre parti, 1847).
