Hanno un totale di circa 3.000 studenti e 130 insegnanti in 18 sedi didattiche. Le due scuole sono soggette a normative diverse in materia di sovvenzioni, ma in pratica i genitori di tutto il Cantone si fanno carico del 30-40% dei costi delle lezioni di musica. In entrambe le scuole, le tasse scolastiche si basano sul reddito dei genitori e ci sono borse di studio che forniscono un sostegno fino a quasi 100% in entrambe le scuole.<\/p>\n<p>L'affiliazione del Conservatorio al dipartimento cantonale dell'istruzione e del Coll\u00e8ge musical al dipartimento dell'istruzione della citt\u00e0 di La Chaux-de-Fonds assicura alle scuole di musica solide radici politiche. \"Questo ci permette di avere un ottimo collegamento con le scuole primarie\", afferma Farine. Circa 150 allievi delle bande di ottoni del cantone beneficiano di una tassa d'iscrizione ridotta. Gli allievi con disabilit\u00e0 sono integrati nella CMNE: gli insegnanti sono formati appositamente per questo scopo e ci sono collaborazioni con istituzioni specializzate.
