Una di queste registrazioni \u00e8 <em>Quintettes suisses<\/em> con due prime mondiali di Gustave Doret e Fritz Bach per pianoforte e quartetto d'archi e un'opera per quintetto d'archi del giovane Frank Martin, che gli amanti dell'opulenta musica da camera tardo-romantica potranno ascoltare con piacere. Questi brani saranno eseguiti dal Melos Ensemble Vienna e dal pianista italiano Adalberto Maria Riva, che lavora nella Svizzera occidentale. Uno dei violoncellisti dell'ensemble viennese \u00e8 Christophe Pantillon, proveniente da una nota famiglia di musicisti svizzeri. Le interpretazioni di tutte e tre le opere sono eccezionali, ispirate, piene di spirito e belle da vedere. Foto: zVg<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Il quintetto di Doret fu scritto nel 1925 su suggerimento del famoso pianista, compositore e politico polacco Ignacy Paderewski. Gustave Doret (1866-1943) non \u00e8 un compositore sconosciuto, ma la sua fama si basa pi\u00f9 che altro sulle sue musiche di scena per il Th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Jorat di M\u00e9zi\u00e8res nel Vaud, sulle musiche per due F\u00eates des Vignerons e sulla sua ricca opera di canzoni. Nato ad Aigle, Doret studi\u00f2 prima con Joseph Joachim a Berlino, poi a Parigi con Jules Massenet e Th\u00e9odore Dubois. Nel 1894 diresse il capolavoro giovanile di Debussy <em>Pr\u00e9lude \u00e0 l'apr\u00e8s-midi d'un faune<\/em> dal battesimo. Tuttavia, la sua musica \u00e8 pi\u00f9 influenzata da Faur\u00e9 che dall'impressionismo.<\/p>\n<p>Composta un po' prima, cio\u00e8 nel 1918, la <em>Poesia<\/em> di Fritz Bach (1881-1930), in realt\u00e0 Fr\u00e9d\u00e9ric Henri Bach, nato a Parigi, comp\u00ec gli studi scolastici e teologici a Losanna prima di studiare composizione nella capitale francese con Charles Widor e Vincent d'Indy e organo con Alexandre Guilmant e Louis Vierne. Tornato in Svizzera, insegn\u00f2 in diverse citt\u00e0 intorno al lago di Ginevra e compose soprattutto musica sacra. In un certo senso, si potrebbe anche includere il suo quintetto per pianoforte di quasi 40 minuti: In cinque movimenti (Jeunesse; Amour; Bonheur; Douleurs, Tristesses; Luttes), esso descrive un'intera vita umana con i suoi alti e bassi. Il Salmo 130 appare per primo nell'ultimo movimento (<em>Dal profondo ti chiamo, Signore<\/em>), prima del corale <em>Ci\u00f2 che Dio fa \u00e8 ben fatto<\/em> porta la vita a una fine conciliante. Musicalmente, tutto questo \u00e8 realizzato con mezzi relativamente semplici ma convincenti, stilisticamente influenzati dal tardo romanticismo francese.<\/p>\n<p>Come giustamente sottolineato da Jacques Tchamkerten nel suo esauriente testo del libretto, il libro di Frank Martin <em>Pavane couleur du temps <\/em>(1920) dall'opera di Ravel <em>Ma M\u00e8re l'Oye <\/em>e ispirato dall'entusiasmo per la Francia di Luigi XIV. Il titolo fa riferimento alla fiaba di Charles Perrault <em>Peau d'\u00e2ne<\/em>che chiamiamo <em>Allerleirauh<\/em> conoscere.
