Diverse sue composizioni sono state premiate con riconoscimenti. \u00c8 noto anche per la sua interpretazione della famosa parte d'organo nel film <em>Fratello addormentato.<\/em> Il suo catalogo di opere comprende composizioni per coro a cappella, musica vocale con ensemble o orchestra, musica per strumenti a tastiera, musica da camera e brani orchestrali.<\/p>\n<p>Il presente lavoro in quattro movimenti <em>Sonata da Chiesa<\/em> per violoncello (viola) e organo \u00e8 basato sul materiale musicale dell'opera di Feller del 2006<em> Fiera di Feldafinger <\/em>per coro misto a 7 voci, archi, arpa, percussioni e organo. I titoli dei movimenti della sonata corrispondono alla struttura della messa: Kyrie eleison - Calmo, espressivo; Gloria in excelsis Deo - Vivace, molto ritmico; Sanctus - Benedictus - Calmo, solenne; Communio - Adagio. Lo stile compositivo di Feller ricorda talvolta Maurice Durufl\u00e9, Flor Peeters o persino la musica da film.<\/p>\n<p>La parte del violoncello offre compiti prevalentemente gratificanti e lirici, anche se nel terzo movimento ci sono alcuni impegnativi passaggi in doppio stop nel registro acuto (gamma: G-f2). Secondo il compositore, \"gran parte della parte organistica deve essere suonata su due manuali, poich\u00e9 le mani spesso si sovrappongono. Bisogna prestare attenzione a quando una voce deve essere enfatizzata o quando le due mani possono essere suonate ugualmente su due o addirittura su un solo manuale. \u00c8 importante che la parte organistica rimanga sempre varia e trasparente\".<\/p>\n<p>La sonata \u00e8 adatta come musica liturgica nelle funzioni religiose, ma pu\u00f2 essere utilizzata anche come pezzo da concerto. Questa composizione tecnicamente impegnativa \u00e8 un'aggiunta originale al non troppo ricco repertorio di letteratura originale per violoncello e organo.
