Due! - Una delle cose affrontate in questa battuta \u00e8 il fatto che l'intonazione sul flauto dolce \u00e8 difficile e complicata con due, perch\u00e9 c'\u00e8 sempre qualcosa che \"ronza, gorgheggia, cinguetta o ronza\", come si dice nella prefazione alla <em>Trii per due<\/em> viene chiamato. Una ragione di ci\u00f2 \u00e8 da ricercare nello specifico spettro dei toni del flauto dolce. Quando due flauti dolci (soprattutto alti) suonano insieme, si produce almeno un cosiddetto tono combinato. Mentre di solito si cerca semplicemente di intonare i due flauti dolci ragionevolmente bene insieme, Adrian Wehlte utilizza proprio questo principio. I suoi duetti annotati, se intonati in modo completamente puro, producono un tono di combinazione che corrisponde esattamente alle due note suonate; il duo diventa un trio.<\/p>\n<p>Il libretto, con un livello di difficolt\u00e0 progressivo, vuole essere una guida pratica alla sicurezza dell'intonazione attraverso il riconoscimento consapevole delle note combinate. Queste sono quindi annotate in un ulteriore pentagramma come terza voce virtuale, che corrisponde alle due voci superiori in termini di tecnica compositiva e risulta in un vero e proprio trio di due. Quando il duo viene registrato, diventa udibile che la terza voce non esiste solo come fenomeno acustico nelle orecchie dei musicisti, ma \u00e8 effettivamente presente nel suono.
