Le suites per violoncello di Johann Sebastian Bach sono una sfida - e molti hanno gi\u00e0 fallito. Molte registrazioni delle suite suonano fragili, senza archi, scandite da una nota all'altra. Bernhard Maurer aumenta il rischio registrando tutte e sei le suite dal vivo. Non in studio, ma nelle chiese medievali intorno a Thun. \"Ogni volta che ho avuto l'opportunit\u00e0 di suonare una suite di Bach in una chiesa romanica, mi \u00e8 sembrato che questo fosse lo spazio ideale per questa musica, anche se la musica \u00e8 stata composta mezzo millennio dopo la costruzione\", spiega Maurer. Davanti a un pubblico vuoto, Maurer suona un violoncello ottavino a cinque corde, costruito nel 2012 da Stephan Sch\u00fcrch su modello di Nicol\u00f2 Amati. Diverse angolazioni mostrano la diteggiatura virtuosa della mano sinistra, l'arco in primo piano, le finestre colorate della chiesa o l'inquadratura lunga con Maurer al centro della chiesa. Questa concentrazione bachiana sull'essenziale avrebbe fatto bene al film; a volte i cambi di prospettiva sembrano inutilmente frenetici e tolgono tranquillit\u00e0 alla musica.<\/p>\n<p>La terza suite, catturata su pellicola nella spoglia chiesa del castello di Spiez, ha un suono pi\u00f9 cupo e familiare. Qui Bernhard Maurer suona un violoncello barocco pi\u00f9 comune della scuola di Giovanni Battista Maggini. Ancora una volta, si percepisce che Maurer ha studiato le suite per decenni. Non ci sono incertezze di intonazione, i tempi sembrano naturali, non c'\u00e8 la gigue, che altri a volte trasformano in un superficiale pezzo virtuoso.<\/p>\n<p>Quindi: vale la pena visitare il sito web, che oltre ai link offre anche buone informazioni di base. Naturalmente, le solite interruzioni pubblicitarie su YouTube sono terribili: forse si potrebbe fare qualcosa al riguardo e collegare i film direttamente al sito?
