L'aria si fa sempre pi\u00f9 rarefatta per le etichette discografiche indipendenti nel mercato della musica classica. Recentemente, Hyperion \u00e8 stata acquisita dalla multinazionale Universal e Apple ha rilevato BIS. Secondo quanto riportato dai media britannici, Heymann vuole garantire l'indipendenza di una delle ultime importanti etichette indipendenti con il suo acquisto privato.<\/p>\n

Chandos \u00e8 stata fondata a Londra nel 1979 e ha trasferito la sua sede a Colchester, nell'Essex, nel 1986. \u00c8 una delle pi\u00f9 grandi etichette indipendenti di musica classica al mondo. Anche l'Orchestre de la Suisse Romande ha pubblicato registrazioni con l'etichetta, tra cui quella premiata con l'Echo Klassik.
