Foto: zVg<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Da oltre dieci anni, il nome di Sarah Chaksad \u00e8 sinonimo di jazz ricco di motivi concisi, suoni sommessi e ritmi complessi. Fino alla pandemia di coronavirus, la sassofonista, compositrice e bandleader era principalmente in viaggio con la sua \"Orchestra\", con la quale ha anche pubblicato due album. Per il suo ultimo lavoro, <em>Insieme<\/em>Ora ha ridotto il suo ensemble a 13 musicisti invece di ampliarlo. Secondo la quarantenne, la formazione attuale \u00e8 quindi pi\u00f9 flessibile e gode di maggiore spazio per l'improvvisazione.<\/p>\n<h3>Strumenti rari, metri dispari<\/h3>\n<p>In un'intervista rilasciata all'autrice di queste righe nel 2022, Chaksad ha spiegato che il suo obiettivo \u00e8 continuare a svilupparsi e che la musica le serve come luogo di forza. Entrambe le cose si riflettono nei suoi dieci nuovi brani. La maggior parte delle composizioni \u00e8 stata innescata dalla morte del padre, originario dell'Iran. Questo l'ha portata ad approfondire la musica tradizionale persiana. Di conseguenza, ha ampliato il suo suono dinamico con strumenti come l'eufonio, il trombone a valvole e il violino persiano, poco conosciuti nel jazz.<\/p>\n<p>Inoltre, quasi tutti i brani di <em>Insieme<\/em> si basano su metri dispari. Mentre il gioco <em>Immaginare la pace<\/em> La traccia che d\u00e0 il titolo all'album presenta un tempo di 13\/8, mentre l'atmosferica title track utilizza un tempo di 5\/8 ed \u00e8 particolarmente affascinante grazie all'assolo soul di Misagh Joolaee sul kamanche, un violino a punta. Numeri come l'elegiaco <em>Lettere d'amore<\/em> o l'impertinente <em>Perso<\/em>che si ispira alla vita da genitore a Berlino, sono fantasiosi, ispirati e ti rimangono impressi.<\/p>\n<p>In definitiva, l'album si caratterizza per la profondit\u00e0 della messa a fuoco, i diversi colori sonori e gli accurati contributi solistici.
