Secondo il comunicato stampa del Cantone, ha completato la sua formazione presso l'Universit\u00e0 di Basilea con un Master of Advanced Studies in Arts Management. Dal 2012 presiede l'Associazione degli artisti e degli organizzatori teatrali svizzeri ed \u00e8 presidente del Consiglio di fondazione della Fondazione svizzera degli artisti interpreti SIS.<\/p>\n<p>Attualmente \u00e8 responsabile di progetti nazionali e politici presso \"Helvetiarockt\" ed \u00e8 membro del consiglio di amministrazione di RFV Basel - la rete di promozione e musica pop della regione di Basilea. In passato ha lavorato nel teatro e nella produzione musicale (jazz, rock e pop) presso diverse istituzioni culturali in Svizzera e Germania.<\/p>\n<p>Roth ha prevalso su 86 candidati provenienti da tutta la Svizzera. Il comitato di selezione, che comprendeva la direttrice del BKSD, la consigliera cantonale Monica Gschwind, e un rappresentante del Consiglio culturale, ha votato all'unanimit\u00e0 a suo favore.<\/p>\n<p>Esther Roth assumer\u00e0 la direzione del dipartimento cultural.bl il 1\u00b0 febbraio 2016. L'obiettivo principale sar\u00e0 quello di familiarizzare con le attivit\u00e0 in corso del dipartimento principale e di mantenere i contatti con i professionisti della cultura nella regione. Tuttavia, l'attenzione si concentrer\u00e0 anche sulle trattative con il Cantone di Basilea Citt\u00e0 in merito alla cooperazione contrattuale nel settore culturale e sulla preparazione di una nuova dichiarazione di missione culturale.<\/p>\n<p>Si conclude cos\u00ec un anno di vuoto nella direzione di kulturelles.bl, anche se secondo la stampa locale inizialmente non era chiaro se il posto sarebbe stato occupato.
