La viola da gamba stava gi\u00e0 passando di moda all'epoca di Telemann, che per questo motivo nel 1735 aggiunse alle sue 12 fantasie per violino una grande quantit\u00e0 di sofisticazioni per attirare gli acquirenti: accordi spezzati e passaggi, scrittura monofonica e polifonica sia in stile fugale che galante.<\/p>\n<p>Viacheslav Dinerchtein ha adattato le Fantasie per viola per Amadeus-Verlag gi\u00e0 nel 2019. Nel 2022 \u00e8 seguito un arrangiamento del compositore inglese Brian A. Schiele. Ognuna di queste opere vivaci \u00e8 composta da due o tre movimenti, e tutte le fantasie dispari contengono un fugato pieno di sorprese. Alcuni movimenti ricordano danze come Allemande, Gavotte, Courante, Bourr\u00e9e, anche se non sono mai etichettati come tali. Altri sono contemplativi e polifonici o gioiosamente virtuosistici. Ogni tonalit\u00e0 che si trova bene ricorre una volta: Otto sono nel circolo delle quinte in maggiore, da Mi bemolle a Mi, quattro in minore, da Do a Mi. Poich\u00e9 la viola da gamba ha sei corde accordate in quarta ottava e una gamma pi\u00f9 ampia nel registro inferiore, \u00e8 necessario accettare le ottave sulla viola e spezzare o assottigliare gli accordi.
