Ci d\u00e0 una chiara disposizione del mondo. Sappiamo dove si trova il nord. Possiamo orientarci. Ma \u00e8 ancora sufficiente oggi, visto che le direzioni e gli orientamenti pi\u00f9 diversi appaiono uno accanto all'altro? Dobbiamo pensare di nuovo alla bussola, dobbiamo sentire come oscilla. A volte \u00e8 una leggera vibrazione, altre volte \u00e8 un battito di zoccoli...<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Orientamento e riorientamento<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Il Festival musicale di Berna ha quindi proposto il tema \"Bussola\" alla scena musicale della citt\u00e0 e del cantone. Quest'ultima ha risposto con una serie di idee, alcune delle quali sono state selezionate e sviluppate dal Consiglio di fondazione. Un evento con Ludmilla Mercier e Ulysse Loup ci porta sui ghiacciai della Groenlandia, mentre un altro con Werner Hasler e Stefan Schultze ci porta nel mondo degli animali, che si orientano secondo una bussola interna quando si muovono e volano. Quanto sono sincronizzati, ad esempio, tre suonatori di giradischi (tra cui Marcel Zaes) che suonano in diverse parti del mondo? Non \u00e8 forse la loro imprecisione l'aspetto interessante? Cosa immagina un musicista iraniano (Ali Latif-Shushtari) dei microgrammi dell'errante Robert Walser, dove lo portano? E cosa significa per noi, ancora oggi, l'emozionante documento contemporaneo di Arnold Sch\u00f6nberg? <em>Un sopravvissuto di Varsavia<\/em>? La compagnia d'opera berlinese Novoflot e il compositore Michael Wertm\u00fcller, originario di Thun, hanno ripreso il brano e lo hanno rivisitato.<\/p>\n<p>Questi progetti mostrano come i musicisti di oggi operino in modo diverso. Ma l'orientamento nel mondo musicale non \u00e8 sempre stato riconsiderato? Singoli compositori sono diventati bussole nel loro tempo e oltre, semplicemente ponendo domande e talvolta cercando di trovare risposte. Sch\u00f6nberg, ad esempio, si \u00e8 certamente visto in una posizione di questo tipo. Con l'atonalit\u00e0 e, soprattutto, la tecnica dodecafonica, credeva di indicare alla storia della musica la giusta direzione. E l'ha fatto, anche se da tempo questo non \u00e8 pi\u00f9 incontestabile. Vale comunque la pena di guardarlo da vicino. Nella serie di concerti in tre parti Extreme Romanticism, il duo pianistico Susanne Huber \/ Andr\u00e9 Thomet si concentra su due delle sue prime opere atonali, aggiungendo per contrasto la musica in quarti di tono del suo contemporaneo Charles Ives. Ives compare anche nella seconda parte della serie, alla quale Jacques Demierre contribuisce con commenti aggiornati. Franz Liszt, il vero musicista del futuro del XIX secolo, \u00e8 la terza bussola, con cui la musicista elettronica Olga Kokcharova dialoga in un'ottica di rottura dei confini.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Indicazioni e barriere<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>I confini spesso ostacolano la bussola. Ecco perch\u00e9 l'Ensemble Proton Bern, insieme a quattro compositori e all'ensemble vocale Cantando Admont, esplora i confini del nostro Paese, la sua apertura e il suo isolamento. Quale bussola interiore seguono i rifugiati nel loro difficile viaggio attraverso il nostro Paese? Quali barriere devono superare? Il quartetto vocale internazionale Operadicals (con Franziska Baumann) e il coro bernese Suppl\u00e9ments Musicaux, a loro volta, cercano la terra incognita della voce umana. Mauricio Kagel, compositore di origine argentina con sede a Colonia, guarda il mondo da una prospettiva insolita nei suoi pezzi Windrose. Per lui il sud, che noi associamo al caldo, \u00e8 sinonimo di freddo della Patagonia. In questo modo, gli ordini vengono messi in subbuglio.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Compositore in residenza: George E. Lewis<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>L'attraversamento dei confini e il riorientamento sono al centro anche del musicista che verr\u00e0 a Berna come Compositore in Residenza: George E. Lewis. Il trombonista del circolo d'avanguardia jazz dell'AACM (Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians) \u00e8 da tempo una delle figure pi\u00f9 importanti della musica statunitense. La sua musica combina improvvisazione e composizione, installazioni controllate dal computer e forme concertistiche interattive con una profonda riflessione sulle condizioni della creazione musicale contemporanea. Parler\u00e0 di decolonizzazione; la sua orchestra computerizzata interagisce con la pianista Magda Mayas in Voyager; e sta scrivendo un nuovo pezzo per il versatile organo a fiato della cattedrale di Berna. Daniel Glaus suona la parte solista e diventa cos\u00ec il \"diavolo della cattedrale\". Ad ogni esecuzione, il modo di vedere e sentire cambia. Anche la bussola delle partiture non pu\u00f2 pi\u00f9 essere completamente affidata.
